Best class for leveling fast and farming gold at 85?

I'm about to start my little botting project, still in the planning steps and one of the things i need to do is level all the accounts to 85, i would like this to be done as fast as possible so i can start getting some profit out of it

So i come here to ask for advice from my buddys at the buddyforum, which class is in your opinion the fastest to level from 1-85 and can still do good at farming when it hits 85?

Any suggestions on which bots to use at which levels (PvP, archeology, Grind, Quest etc) and profiles which is good is also welcome

I would suggest druid (feral) Pally (Prot) DK (Prot). Thats my personal lvling prefrences anyhow. Druid will use energy instead of mana resulting in little to no downtime. Prot pally need I say more? and all three are fantastice at farming ore/herbs.

i level pretty fast with pvp and leveling gear. 60-68 over night. and so on. Mixed mode with pvp and grind work nice if the mixed mode word now.

Are you using any restarter/relogger? Because whenever i leave my HB on for a few hours without monitoring, either wow or HB crashes. Just to be abit more unlucky this happens like 1 hour after i go to bed ^^

I tried the ReLogger plugin but that didnt really seem to do much about crashes :/

damn not sure how you're getting 8 levels over night. That's 1 lvl per hour assuming you're talking 8 hours of sleep. Anyway, I'd say Druid or Pally for sure. Pallies are beasts and druids don't have to shift out to mine herbs. Kind of OP. Specifically you should go Tauren for the herbalism racial perks.

On the crashing after 1 hour if left unattended I would suggest you make sure you do not have any energy saving profiles on your computer. I had that problem on my laptop that after an hour it would turn the HD off and well that makes things crash that are running

I dont have anything like that, im running on a desktop Really no programs which would restart WoW and HB if one were to crash? I've been lurking around different parts of the forums and searched but i cant find anything but the plugin i mentioned, and well that only relogs, doesnt restart the applications, sadly

Demo lock is extremely solid. No gear needed, and the PoD CC is very stable.

defintely druid if ur going to be farming nodes like herbs and ores. becaus the few seconds cast time to mount up every time really stacks up when you farm for a few hours

I botted almost every class, in my opinion the easyest are: Paladin (Ret), Shaman (Enh), Deathknight (Blood)

The most efficient of these is the Shaman (Enhancer spec)

- By far the best custom class (ShamWoW)
- Kill Speed
- No downtime
- Instand heal via maelstrom weapons & feral spirit.
- Handles adds & elite mobs like a champ (even if the elite brings some friends)

You can use Elemental spec for leveling to use your equip as healer with IB or in BG (Mixed mode), but Enhancer works a lot better for Grinding/Questing.

I like DKs since they start at 55, quest out at 58, and you can use blood spec for no deaths/no downtime leveling.. I have leveled a druid and DK was better, I'm now leveling a prot paladin using quest profile and it's pretty good also, I'd say DK #1 cause starts at 55, then paladin, then druid in order of efficiency..

having just leveled a hunter, i gotta say, when mining/herbing, its really nice to be able to drop down, have my pet attack whatever mobs are nearby that aggro'd, and still be able to get the node BEFORE having to kill whatever is around me. that way no one else is able to grab it while im busy killing mobs around me.

and having a pocket tank is nice for leveling

The best at 85 in my opinion is a feral druid, the instant flight and picking herbs in flight form saves you alot of time in the long run

I choose paladin. When farming, they get 20% mounted speed boost in all specs, and can self heal. DKs are a close second, you can spec into 20% mounted speed, start out a bit higher (useful if you just want a farmer on an existing account, but a pure botting account, might as well stick with the paldin since u have to do 1-55 anyway) If you want a dedicated herber, can't beat a druid, you avoid so much combat by herbing from flight form, and archaeology buddy is faster due to instant cast flight, those 1.5 seconds add up after thousands of artifacts.

I guess if you have a high enough level guild you can negate the 20% speed boost from pally/DK, which makes druid the overall winner.

But the best CC is shamwow, I botted some arenas with a unholy DK and a resto shaman, and the last fight they were in, the DK kept getting chain CC'd, fear, sheep, slow etc, and the team we were against was a frost mage and an aff lock. The 2 DPS couldn't kill the shammy, and the DK eventually wore them down. Couldn't have done it by hand as well as shamwow did. The shield twisting between earth/water shield, using CDs when low, etc. If you are on a very populated server with lots of ganking, shaman might be the best cause it can survive many 1v1 fights against players really well.

I would say Shaman for the excelent CC "Shamwow"... it plays much better than the average player at PVP or PVE combat, and you would never have problems of dying... but for quick gathering and instant fly mount cast, I would say a tauren druid. if you are thinking of farming a lot...

Where a druid will fly 310% a paladin will fly 392% in speed, this really give the paladin an advantage even if the druid dont have those 2 sec mount cast it will loose the game.

Edit: so for pure fly farming paladin beats every other class.

But when it comes to leveling i guess moonkin druid are the fastest killers and might beat a ret paladin in leveling speed. but a prot paly has the best survivability, it is almost unkillable, 5-7 mobs is no problem. but one on one it is slow.

Why there is no Death Knight in pool?
It has same speed as Paladin, don't need to change auras, can pull ranged mobs with Death Grip.
Imo for overall use DK beats Paladin.

For herbing it's obviously Druid.

392%? i rly doubt that as ur talents doesnt stack with other speed increases
