Hey guys,

I'm curious what class/build you suggest for T6 rifting. I have a well geared DH and recently geared a crusader and have the key items for both holy shotgun and stampede builds.

I haven't tested much with the different builds and botting them, just curious what you guys thought. Looking for the least deaths / highest XP and also loot obviously.

This would be down to theory and practice changing out combat rules, I'd also ask if you mean solo or party. I think that any classes that are geared for T6 will clear it quickly.

I don't know about other classes but I use my cold build DH with Marauder's set and Bombadiers Rucksack Quiver. Blows through t6 and up to level 32 grifts with no issues.

I'm at around 1.2 million damage and 10.2 million toughness.

Spells:

Vault - Tumble
Sentry - Spitfire Turret
Companion - Wolf
Multishot - Arsenal
Elemental Arrow - Frost Arrow
Cluster Arrow - Maelstrom

Passives:
Custom Engineering
Cull of the Weak
Ballistics
Awareness

Gems:
Bane of the trapped
Bane of the powerful
Enforcer

i think right now all classes are almost equally good for beating t6

every class relies highly on the sets tho to get the powerboost they really need to just rape those demons
some classes rely on only one, while others can use all of their sets

DH and crusaders for example almost 100% rely on the maurauder set (dh) or akkhan set (crus) , and you probably will have to farm them at some point

every class gets really powerful with its set tho

barb has even 3which work pretty well on t6 , raekor or earthquake being the best, but immortal kings acients also deal enought dps to solo t6 while you stand afk somewhere with the right gear

PET! WD for example doesnt really need any set, just a few key items (tasker and theo and jerams mask, all the other stuff you can probably craft) and he can run easy t6, of course some items or sets are beneficial, like blackthornes, zunimassa, or the ring which gives you a big zombie dog, or the starmetal kukri
but t6 should be easy going with just tasker and theo and jerams mask (combined with crafted gear with ok stats on it, like aughilds set)

while jade wd needs the entire jade set, and a special mask

if your dh has full m6 with some semi decent gear, its probably the fastest thing to run on t6 (since 1turret kills packs while you just keep running)
if alot of kiting is involved into your manual dh gameplay, i would suggest to still upgrade his gear and gems abit and maybe go with the more forgiving crusader

i have run m6, holy shotgun and stempede myself (since i also mainly play dh crus and barb)

i really dont see a big difference between holy shotgun and stempede in t6 (both builds need basicly 1-5hits for everything, from trash to packs, except the rift guardian)
while i feel stempedes damage is about 20-30% higher (if you would have 100% the same gear level on both builds), it makes a much bigger difference for which build you are better geared
for example would i rather go with a 3700fate of the fell, then a non furnace or hearthseaker low rolled 2h weapon for the stempede builds, just because u got the shield

i went with stempede as it became more popular because i was playing holy shotgun all the time pre 2.1 and i like to change it up abit
then i also went to botting with stempede just to not switch skills and gear all the time

if you have nice gear for both (good fate, good furnace or hearthseaker) i would go with simply the one you prefer playing yourself while you play the character (the bot can do both pretty pretty well) and it wont make a noticable difference in loot (i always have more legendarys then space on my account as i wake up, and i have 2.5 empty stash pages)

for m6, i would go with frost, its the easiest, but there again, if you have better gear for another build, or simply prefer playing it yourself, i wouldnt bother changing it up, and just bot with whatever you play (fire, lightning, chakrams, doesnt matter, everything will work pretty well)

so to sum up again:

for efficiency, go with the better geared character (if both are almost maxxed out, or if both are pretty sucky and far away from maxxed out, it wont make a huge difference)

and for builds, dh, is frost with etaryu, or 1h with 4.15 (also with frost) always the best way to go solo (or lightning with helltrapper and the new quiver, but thats abit overkill for t6)
take vaults and tactical advantage, cause these days movementspeed>>>>>killspeed (cause u overkill so easy on t6 with a good character)

for crusader the stampede build will probably be abit more efficient, altho the difference the build makes, might be overweight by the gear difference between your holyshotgun and stampede build (simply decide by what you prefer to play//what feels faster when you play, thats gonna be the faster//better one), if both gearsets are on the same level stampede will always win by about 20%-30% more dmg output

and last but not least, a small tipp from my side for increasing exp/hour and (or) decreasing death/hour

my dh is at the point that he literally kills everything by placing one turret while running threw the rift, so at this point, the gems he has for grifts, are more then useless and overkill for t6, i run the mini condiut (forgot the english name) and the boon of the horder (goblin gem) both on level 25 everytime i really wanna be efficient with my botting (i mostly care about getting the item i need faster then exp/hour)

but same goes for a well geared holy shotgun/stampede crusader, you wont need the dmg of 2gems on t6, you will be waaaaaaaay more efficient with tht 50% movementspeed (of course you have to judge yourself, if your fight time against packs goes from 3-5sec per pack to 20-30, its not worth it at all, if it goes to 5-10secs, its perfect)

at this point i really dont care at all about being efficient with botting, but i remember a time where the 6% more movement speed from lacuni bracers ment a noticable difference in the efficiency of the bot, so the 50% of the 2new gems, make a gigantic difference (dont have exact numbers, sorry)

and if u die alot with the dh, and have still some dmg to spare (or you only run the goblin gem) you can go with gold wrap, and become invincible , literally, there is nothing that will ever kill you on t6
