I was looking for similar information, and I have done some readings.

For the build it really depends on the drops! In this game, the legendaries determine what builds we use.

A lot of the known builds require certain legendaries.

It is better to let legendary (i.e. drops) determine the build, rather than to choose the build and try to farm a certain legendary.

Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

I use this all the time in general rifting etc... it works perfect, just save FA for when you have boss/elite pack so they are not overwritten by FS
