I suck at this game in both playing it and botting it. I really want to hear what 3 man teams and build work best for pushing gr's. Please include basic build info and who is set as the leader...as well as any other pertinent details. I can hardly act like a cocky dick in general chat if i have only completed a gr 75!! Dont make me face that!! :(

ZDPS Heal monk + insert whatever 2 dps classes you want.

Recommended alternatives:

1 firebird archon wizard + anything (including another ZDPS).

2 arachyr or gargantuan WDs.

3 LoN sader + Grenade DH.

4. Double barb could work, haven't tested myself.

remember that the biggest strength of group play is being able to ignore incoming damage and focus on your output.
Ranged builds are not recommended (your char will separate mobs, create oculus pools in far positions from the other group members, won't benefit from area skills (inner sanctuary, cyclone heal....). Same applies to UE Dh; if you are gonna use a DH in groups, go M6 grenades or Support.
 
Agreed with pimp.

Probably the best group compositions look like this:

2 bots:
ZDPS heal monk always


  1. INT class DPS
  2. LonBomb (if really well geared)
  3. DPS monk



3 bots:
ZDPS heal Monk always

If you have a really high DPS INT class character
  1. ZDPS Barb is preferred
  2. Second DPS character if your main DPS isnt dying without ZDPS Barb: Int > LonBomb > Monk

If you have a middle of the road main DPS character:
  1. You probably need another DPS character: I prefer it to be a different class than the first DPS character (only exception IMO is 2 FB WDs)
  2. Good Combos:

  • LonBomb and Archon
  • Archon and Firebats (This can be squishy, your mileage may vary)
  • Dual Firebats (again, can be squishy with 1 ZDPS only)
  • Dual LoNBomb
  • R6 or SWK LTK or LoN LTK and any other DPS
  • you get the idea

4 bots:
ZDPS Heal monk and ZDPS Barb always

Then pick your best 2 DPS classes.
Dual Firebats works well in this configuration, as does Archon/Firebats and LonBomb/Archon

You could add a third ZPDS (prefer Stun/Globe Monk for third, ZDPS Blackhole wizard is an option), but your main DPS needs to be a ridiculously good DPSer like GG Archon/Manald, or a perfect Firebat WD.

Considering heal monk as 1st Zdps, and grouping up barb as 2nd Zdps (earth set with spear is the best Zdps barb imho)....

either Support DH (wildly undervalued) , roland sweep attack ZDPS crusader -only if not LoN crusader in group-, Zdps wizard or even a second monk with EP / dps mantra spamming are valid options for 3rd Zdps / support.


Again, let me confirm what TwoCigars said: your main DPS needs to be extremely good (glass cannon BiS gear with great rolls and full augmented) to allow for this option. In most cases, a dual DD dual Zdps setup is probably better.

Yeah, that's the current iteration of the basic Zdps heal monk. You change crippling wave rune if you are not in Iceblink duty.

Also, if you don't need spirit guards toughness boost (you are pretty much immortal even without them) you can switch to Nemesis bracers.

ZDPS Whirlwind Leapquake [2.4.2a] Uber Detailed Guide - Barbarian - Diablo III Builds - Diablo Fans


For me , leapquake works much much better.

ZDPS monk: [S9] Zmonk 4-man grp GR 110+ - Monk - Diablo III Builds - Diablo Fans
ZDPS Barb: Barbarian Support Build with Raekor (Patch 2.4.3 / Season 9) - Diablo 3
Able to finish a GR70, i'm going to try another wiz build Wizard Manald Archon Build (Patch 2.4.3 / Season 9) - Diablo 3 when i get the required gear
 
I just have a2 tiny additional point to make here. First point: I believe there is an optimum 3 man group class and skill mix that would optimize the efficiency of the demonobuddy combination with autofollow. However Im not certain that all important DB info should be posted on this site, especially given the pressures bossland has been exposed to.
