Belphegor and Demon Hunter skills

[Whuzzle]

I'm leveling up my demon hunter, using Belphegor.

Issue is, what skills am I supposed to use?

It only ever seems to use my main attacking ability and nothing else. It wont leap away or evade anything, just stands there auto attacking.

I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere, but I've looked and couldn't find anything.
