Hi fellow humans
now i have been using Hb for some time now making gold back when darkmoon cards were a easy to sell for great gold!1
but now, just like tonight looking at AH and thinking god what do i do!!
I have 9 lvl 85's covering all proffession, but from looking at AH there is no gold to be make from making items as no profit margains, so that leaves gathering.
since the price of herbs on this high pop server are so low im left with ore's.
bear with me LOL, elementium bars are 2g a go and on average i can get 1000 ores per a night of AFK botting making 1kgold but the competition is high competing with other botters so the economy is saturated, so to get a return on all 1000 ores a day isnt possible due to being undercutted constantley.
I dnt expect for you all to give me your secrets but i see so many people on here saying how much gold there making and i would love some of the pie!
I have even resorted to lower level farming to hopefully catch some people needing old stuff but we will see how that goes.
I guess instead of me carrying on i would really apreciate some tips and advice on how to be better at this economy stuff.

server to server is different.classic herbs and ore(often the classic stuff is more expensive than the cata stuff),all items to skill or pets.there are many ways to make money,test it.

i guess over time things come back to being good again but your right switching to an alternative method is worth a try, ty for speedy reply ill have 1 on pets and other on classic ores

some classic herbs (purple lotus and goldthorn),i sell often between 300-500g each stack,or different mats for the achivements.

Sounds like your server is flooded with farmers/bots, you'll have to get creative with making gold by the sounds of it or switch server.

What I normally do is sell outland herbs/ores (the ones found in hellfire are great) People want to level there professions but are to lazy to farm, there is where you come in with your outland goods. Northarend is good to. The good thing about these places is that hardly no one is there. No players there = less ban chance.

Although, I tried it on another server and they struggled to sell. Just try all the methods you can.
