been gone and need advice on gold

I need to update my chrs for 1.0.5 and I looked and only have 15mil gold so I need advice.
Should I just run act 1 or 2 inferno to get gear and gold or should I just run some hell runs and stack gf ?

my barb was just starting act3 and my monk is running act2 both in inferno. I have all the other classes at 60 but not messed with them much.

YEA I went and tried GW2 and man that game is poor on content and boring as hell.
 
Buy a crappy budget set and run A1/A2 inferno and save gold and sell drops until you can afford an A3 set.
 
Are you looking to go down the item farming road? If so, and if you're content in farming Act 1, you can do real efficient now. Just set monster power (MP) to 1 and all of the best drops in the game can possibly drop. This way you don't have to gear up anymore. If you could handle elite farming in Act 1 in 1.0.4, you'll demolish it in 1.0.5.

If you want to gear them up for elites on Act 3, it's much easier now. No need to emphasize much on defense and just dump more resources to build up your offense. I think 15m gold can easily build a barb to bulldoze over the act. Just get a decent Skorn (between 1.2k-1.3k dps, 300 str, 150%+ crit damage; probably between 2-3m I think), have around 500-600 base all resist and build up to around 50-60k dps with 40k hp or so (45k feels much safer to me).

No experience in farming gold though, have 4 barbs all running Act 3 on MP 1 with about 300-400k GPH each. Item farming is probably the way to go and if you're lacking on gold to gear up, consider just buying some gold since it's pretty dirt cheap at the moment.

bottle you said you are running 4 barbs is there a best barb build for 1.0.5 ?
 
Don't know if it's the best, but I'm using a typical rend build with revenge and WoTB. MP1 is insanely easy so anything goes really.
 
I think that is what I was doing when I quit.
I will just turn him on in act2 and see how he does, before he just breezed thru act2.
If he does ok I will switch him to act3 and test it.
MAN I wish work would hurry up I want to go home and get back to it :)

Oh also remember to set your bot to pick up every ilvl of items. Anything that drops in Inferno can roll the best stats now. If you already knew about this then never mind. Also I just removed War Cry and replaced it with Sprint to move around faster, I'll let you know how it goes, maybe it can give an idea of how low you can go with defense.

Can you explain this? My Giles is set at default settings. It's set to pick up all legendaries ilvl1+. Is that right?
