I want to check if anyone recieved a Whisper Chat Message when botting stating that Battlenet have detected plugins and request you lock in to recover account. I followed the instruction and keyed in the designated web address. Immediately, the secret question and answer screen popped up for verification. Once the process is complete, you are returned to your account platform. Just to check, if anyone encounter the same process? My previous account was banned 3 days after ignoring this chat message. Please share and I will take picture if I saw the message again.
 
you got scammed.

should change your password and secret question immediately.
 
blows my mind that this actually work - maybe i shoul set up a scampage of my own
 
Hmm... i can't find the support page to change the secret question and answer. Anyway, I do hope anyone can share if thy have encounter the same thing.
 
the stupidity of people that are on this website is completely unbelievable. How can you fall for a phishing scam. What are you, 12?
In fact, age doesn't matter as I wouldn't have fallen for that when I was 6. If you cannot tell a real link from a fake one then I don't think you should be playing D3 let alone botting
 
Its because there is some selection bias here - most smart people who would have ignored that wisper and lol'd are silent lurkers, while those idiots like the OP that take the bait bumble their way onto the forums to post about it...
 
you got scammed, never give your password to anyone, and if you have to change it then only do it via the battle.net site, and type it in yourself, never use any url they give you.
 
Hmm... My bad... So I guess I have learn something. Will change my password and notify Battlenet on changing the details as well.
