Hello there, since im kinda beginner on this site. I was just looking around some bg profiles, but I don't know what is good and what is not. How I can choose the best one ?
 
there are no BG profiles, they are loaded automatically when you join a BG with BGBuddy
 
For technicality sake there are BGBuddy profiles, and are in the Default Profiles part of your HB installation. As mentioned above you don't have to actually load them, just configure BGBuddy's Bot Config and be on your way. If you were to find a different profile you'd still have to answer to BGBuddy's logic, which only uses the profiles to an extent. Just a little forewarning, you may notice a few... annoyances... in BGBuddy, but they're working on making a new bot that will hopefully deliver much better PvP.

5 months is the last I remember hearing about a new bot of sorts from Chinajade. I believe it was this post? Surely it's not the best marketing to say it's not great (which is true) and never planned to be changed. It will be updated eventually but coupled with the major issues they recently fixed and the exciting newer additions arriving or coming soon I doubt BGBuddy is high on anyone's list. The irony would be too much for me if a bot named Honorbuddy can't farm honor correctly.
 
I use the Default ones, it works great, my full geared PVE Deathknight , is always 1# place on my side or both sides ;) theres no risk they think im a bot, which bot takes first place? If you write then once in a while smth in BG chat , nobody predict you to be a bot... furthermore, nowadays nobody gives a fuck anyway.. When I see 10 players walk exact the same move path to Balinda in AV its obvious they are all bots, but nobody cares...

They all work great for me, But I recommend to deactivate the 2 new BGs, the one with the Lores and with the Balls, because they are difficult and more active than the others. I abused the BGbot alot in multiple seasons I equipped my chars full more than like 30 times and never had any (real) problems. I had a 6hour ban once, cause I did BGs for like 30hours straight , and they send me an Email that I was afking in battlegrounds to leach honor and that lowers the quality of pvp or some shit... But that was my fault, was too long pvping.

So dont be afraid, and I dont even use a Rotation, the singular just works great on DK

CJ is not a botbase developer and does not work on BGBuddy, AFAIK.

Also, improvements were made to BGBuddy a while ago, but Natfoth left the team a while ago to pursue his own ventures in life, and we wish him all the best.
I do not know who is actively working on it, though I have not been around much lately.

As far as I'm aware he doesn't either, it was just a sourcing thing.

I'm not too sure what happens as Honorbuddy progresses that makes BGBuddy degrade even though BG's rarely change layout, just minor mechanics. I was astonished how awful it looked herding around other people in IoC, running into the AB gate, and one time I could have sworn it picked up an EoTs flag and ran straight into the abyss. I doubt someones actively working on it, or will admit to not. Never knew about Natfoth though, most developers are really quiet. Wish him luck in his endeavors.
 
When I try to bot BG and go into Default Profiles through Honorbuddy only my questing profiles shows up, whyyy?
