There is a warrior card called battle rage. It gives you a card per damaged friendly char. In emergencies it can be used just with the hero, and without any minions. In fact it has to. I witness a situation multiple times where the bot is losing very hard, and has one or more battle rage cards, and it doesn't use them because there are no minions on the board. At this point it armors up and skips turn.
I think battle rage should be used if, our is empty, hero has less hp then enemy hero, and enemy has cards on board. Then use battle rage to gain a card, that could win us the game, instead of skippng turn and losing.
