battle.net will no longer open wow 32

just played ten hours ago, I try to log in after work and something "went wrong". app says it cant open wow and it doesnt know.. wow 64 works like a charm but cannot be used with HB.. what scam is blizz doing and is there a work around

Anyone else have this issue?

just delete your "wow-64" file from your wow folder and start the game by double clicking on "wow-32.exe"

looks like this is an issue for everyone. there is no wow 32 exe its only wow 64 exe.. i used to just be able to delete the numbers and it would load but as stated above there is an issue going around

Strange , i have no problem with running WOW in 32 . Everything works fine.

solution: avast detect wow32 as virus and delete it. just turn off avast and copy wow.exe from backup

dude, I love you. But I have to ask two things...
1. how the hell did u know i was running avast?
2. why all of a sudden did this occur?

i just had same problem with avast few minutes ago
