Battle Ground bot - Is it worth the risk?

I remember a while back there were a number of people complaining that they were being reported far too often with the bg bot, since then I have not used it however I was wondering what is the current environment is like for using such a bot? Is it still far too risky to use? or is it safeish(in relation to the other bots questing/levling/etc)?

probably should never bot unattended in a battleground. there is too much close interaction with other players. besided, pvpers are whiny beeches who are always looking for someone to blame their losses on. dont let it be you.

Questing and leveling are about a million times less likely to get you a ban.

Me personally would never use Bgbot ..I do have Ultimate Ashran and BGfarmer and although they are really awesome plugin and botbase I haven't used them in legion partly because of my disgust in the way PVP has been handled by blizzard and my unease with how quickly you can be banned for just the reason Frosticus has mentioned above.

PVP is a fast way to getting banned

Actually they whine because they don't want to lose because of your shitty pvp routine making it 9vs11
