How well does HB play with action bar / ability location on the bars? Do you have to use the default action bars and put abilities on certain bars?

Since HB doesn't use any of the bars, it doesn't really matter.
Though, make sure you have the default keybindings!

If HB doesn't use bars, why do the key bindings have to be reset? Since they are pinned to a bar anyway...

I didn't say I was unhappy, just trying to understand. Since keybinds can't be reset easily if I wanted to actually play the toon is the reason I am asking.

yes they can. use bartender create your setup, save the profile (under bartender). reset all to default.

whenever you want your setup, open bartender, load your setup.

Honorbuddy uses some sort of commands to tell it what to use spell wise and whatnot, unlike gatherbuddy which needs the bars setup. You can get rid of everything on your bars and it will still work the same.
