Banwave, developers gonna do something?

Been botting since 2011 with many 24/7 botting sessions going on, so i was banned 72 hours about a week ago.

Dissapointed? No, i knew it was coming, now the interesting part is that both my mates got banned for the same thing within the same day. Bought new account and got banned after 5 hours of botting. So there clearly is a banwave going on, just look at the foum.

Now the question is, are the developers gonna do anything? I mean you shutdown the diablo 3 bot when blizzard detected it, and had a banwave. Gonna do the same with honorbuddy??

I just had 9 accounts perma banned due to investigation after 5 of them were suspended for questing. YEEEHAW

not a banwave, we are not detected; questing works fine.

Could still be a banwave. They tag a number of accounts for botting and then blast them all at once. This does not mean HB is detected (because if it was, we would ALL be banned).

You could have been spotted and tagged weeks before you got banned. Blizzard may also track by IP address and monitor connected accounts (battle.net info or in-game mails) so be careful with your botting. There are tips available in these forums to help minimize your risks.

server side scripts are what is getting people banned, player reports, time online etc... they could give a warning after 12 hours of botting but would that help? server side scripts are beaten by not looking like a bot... by doing what everyone else does and not bot 24/7.

So you probably are right about the reports, but i still think they read your RAM and sees the bot running to be on the "safe" side.
