I am curious...

Of the people who were banned I think we would be interested in knowing:

Where were you botting? (ie Legion, MoP, WoD)
What type of botting? (ie Questing or Farming)
What farming? (ie herbing, mining)
Specific Farmed item? (ie What herb/mineral were you focused on?
Mount used for farm? (ie Flying - Sky Golem, Ground - x)

This could open up a pattern for us. Maybe for instance their focus really is on Legion. Then maybe it's focused on herbing in Legion. I think you get the point.

This would help us understand risk. May also help us understand how detected. If they got people hunting herb farming in legion and all the bans are related to that then it's not a detection as such and more reporting. Right now I would say reporting but this sort of data helps clear up things.

Some people also may say for instance that my bot using x software not banned but my HB was banned. Maybe there is something about one profile vs the other. Like a stuck point or just how botty the profile looks from one software to the other.
 
i used this profile for a long time with no problems but this thing just happend to me today , after i loaded the gatherbuddy2 profile and i clicked start , the bot exit and the game exit , so do that means i got detected?
 
qweastrq the bot closing after you hit start is an error in your temp files for honorbuddy. deleting cache and some other stuff and reloading will fix it.
 
they detect the honorbuddy.exe process, so no way to avoid it.
they just dont ban you instantly, they ban in waves
 
But these are not detection bans or everyone would be banned. that is false information.
It could be still detected and all accounts are being piled in a list. BUT these bans are through player reports or manual review.
 
I was banned in the November 2016 banwave, 2 accounts I had attached the bot to. My other 2 were safe. I didn't do any herbing or gathering, only used the bot for questing to level alts. Both accounts were upgraded to Legion that I had botted on. Even though they were on the same computer, IP, MAC address, etc., the only ones suspended were those I attached HB to.

I definitely didn't get reported since I only used the bot when I was at the computer, and answered people if anyone interacted with me. Also played the accounts by hand quite a bit using CR.
 
Each of the hb uses is banned this is clear since the last Bannwelle. HB is dead and who has not yet understood this is not to blame

hb dead, hb dead. Why then sit on this forum and write about it? nothing to do? If something does not suit me, I do not use it and do not remember about it. This is so strange. You in a life as do? Go around the store, saying the service there shit do not go there. Or do not come back and use another? Is not it the same here? I would not have been wasting my time checking the product forum in which I was disappointed.
