Banned

So I was botting earlier today to level a toon and all was well, was mostly watching and everything and never seemed to have any problems, got off the game and like an hour later got an email saying I was banned. Is this a normal thing to happen even when you're not on the game at the moment? Also this is my second flag, but would there be anyway to try and fight it?
