I wasn't placing any auctions. I had a buyer that bought all my ore as I could get it and would just CoD it to him. Pretty sure he wasn't the one that reported me because I've been doing that for over a week.

Ban happened after I had logged out for the night. I logged my toon out around 10pm and woke up this morning with a ban email from Blizz. Any tips on getting it reduced to a 72 hour?

Well, this and mine are just two reports, but i guess this qualifies as a ban wave.
I just appealed and accepted the usage of bot since it is a perma ban... just hoping it to be reduced.

If you are completely clean like you say then I would play dumb. Something like, "hey I just got this email this morning and it says I am banned for using something called a "bot" and I am not sure what that even is. I have never had any trouble with you guys before this must be some sort of mistake. Hope you can lift this ban so I can continue to play"

I actually got it reduced to a 72 hour suspension by admitting to it. I don't know if I will keep botting because I've heard typically if you get caught again you're done.

Do not keep botting. Get another account. This is like being a felon. you do your time and if you lucky your out but fuck up again and your going away for life. Take this as a sign. Im glad you got unbanned though. Goodluck to you.

Oh I already started a second account. I was using GB when I got banned but with no plugins. So once my new account toon gets 90 I am going to try again with the proper plugins.

Using a single zone profile, without any randomization (and i dont mean the GB2 randomization) , for more than 45-60 min at a time is totally stupid....

every perma ban on a fresh account usually gets reduced to 72h if it was due to reports and not the automated banning system they have, otherwise you're screwed... he could have put "unban me" and they would have done the same thing.

This, had multiple accounts banned back in Cata (24/7ing for three weeks != good time), called up support, on the same call, got all three accounts banned, I'm really surprised the guy didn't find it suspicious I was calling up about three accounts under three names all being banned after being logged in for 3 weeks straight. He said "There was a glitch in the system which got some people unfairly banned recently, and, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.", or, something along those lines.
