Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.



I have never even used any hacks just bots and I havent even botted since yesterday due to all these patches no clue why they said I was hacking....

I just got the same ban today. I dont bot alot either and ive never used a hack to alter the game. i appealed it i was woundering whats the best excuse to give them to get my account back?

Yea i've never hacked just botted idk is the normal email you get? Isn't it supposed to say you were botting and not hacking?

Im not sure. Ive never even recieved a warning before nor less be banned. i dont know whats up? this is new to me.

Turns out my account being closed was a 72 hour ban...ah well better than a full ban i guess

Shame Im going to have to turn this into a shuffler and buy another gatherer I still have no idea how they sent me the ban if the last time I botted was well before the US server patches last night and I get this message today evening.

I think they mean hacking as in using a bot or something so basically if you use hb on that account that's what they mean, I find it interesting I've been sweet up to now and it's interesting see all your guys been done last night same time as me, I'm not gonna say ban wave cause some idiot will troll me saying no but yer A few posts from last patch

Yea seems that way I made sure I had my computer set to shutdown 4 hours before the patching last night before I went to bed as it ran GB on a multizone profile which worked great for months now.
