This is a ban not a suspension

I can't believe that I have been banned whilst leveling using Kick's leveling profiles. Unbelieveable :( - This was my main and only account that I have had for the past 8 years. If my appeal goes through I will be removing myself from the buddy community I think :'(

what level was your character, so I can guess what banned you. around level 60 right?

Dont feel bad, same thing happend to me,i looked at wim history, and sure enough blizz pst me when i was afk, same profile

So what Blizz are telling us is that we HAVE to reply to their GMs -_- ... yeh, because I pay someone else for the service of talking to me. It's just wrong. I do not think that we should HAVE to talk to a GM if they talk to us. It is ridiculous. :/

No I was around level 28 lol. Mental, right?

Its not the responding part, its blizz has every log imaginable, and when your out questing the button smashing, past gm's have actually said they can log onto the server and see what your seeing, and take controll of your toon.so basically they can see everything your doing, its more then the whisper, its all kinds of things,if this is indeed your first time you will get hit with a 72hr,after you get your account back dont think your not being watched.appeal but do note after you have been banned for this type of stuff you tent to get treated like shit as this is all noted on the account, hope this helps :)

level 28 is very low, you ofcourse didn't use the auction house did you?

this was a combination of not doing enough, as they can pick out people who just quest and do nothing else.

this is also player reports... but the more you do the less likely you are to be banned.

I've had a 72 hour ban before but that was a mistake on Blizzard's part. Well finger crossed I can get through the appeal process and get my account back! I've learnt my lesson. I will be getting another account if I get this one back. Never will I bot on this account again. Screw that.

No i'm afraid none of that is correct :/ - Never used the auction house whilst botting. I've only been botting for two weeks and most of that was PVP for gear for arena. So I was mixing it up plenty. I then farmed after that. Then leveled an alt. So there has been a lot of variety.

I don't think you got banned for that.

I think there is a high possibility. I have found that there is an issue with the leveling in that Kick's profiles can cause some very suspicious behaviour from your character. Such as ignoring required quest mobs because they lie just outside of the range set for the questing area and issues around some dodgy movement. I'm not saying that this is the reason I was banned, but is very probable if I was followed by a GM during a rare AFK mode (which is what must have happened as I went to get a drink etc. came back and boom. Cant login.

Thats weird. I have leveled almost every class to level 90 on the same account(and using kicks mega profile) and not 1 ban. You must have done something that would make a GM observer your char.

I must have done. Maybe my character got stuck whilst I was AFK?

I just recently started botting and this made me very worried. However, using the bot to PVP seems to be the major reason. PVP is so much more focused on human behavior and lots more interaction.

Listen, you can not be sure that it was kick's profiles to get you banned. You might have been reported while botting BGs and THEN a GM went to check on you while you were quest botting.

True. Kick's Profiles are rather good and the chances are high that I was not banned due to his profiles. I could simply have been unlucky enough to have randomly encountered a GM also.

One of the major rules is DO NOT BOT ON AN ACCOUNT YOU CARE ABOUT! ^_^ - I won't be making the same mistake again :)

UPDATE: One more thing to mention is that I managed to get my account UNBANNED!!! ^_^ :D - I have just served out a 72 hour ban and as such will be creating a new account to bot on. I have had the account and been a loyal customer for the past 8 years so that is what I harped on about in my complaint. They replied saying they had identified botting on my account coming from my I.P. address. So they recommended that I check that no one else in the house had been using my computer and the account to bot on (basically showing me that they knew it was me) but they let me off due to my subscription loyalty I guess. Moral of the story bot from another account? Maybe. Bot through a *** tunnel to use an alternate I.P. address? DEFINITELY.

Happens all the time not uncommon, but if its your first bann youll, get it back dont worry
