1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account?
Gatherbuddy
2)If so, when was the last time?: Late last night
3)What profile were you using?: Private
4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Singular
5)What plugins are you using?: LogMeOut, Parrot's Paranoia, GatherBro (botbase), + the usual defaults
6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: ~12
6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 30% of the time
7)How many auctions per day did you have?: Hundreds. Although nearly all of them were legit, and not gathered herbs/ore, etc.
8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? GatherBro bot-base.
9)Was your account involved in gold selling? I sold gold ~6 months ago. But not since then.
10)EU or US realm? US.
11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Paid.
I was expecting this. I've been botting ever since the Glider days w/o a ban. I've gotten tired of WoW and decided to ramp up my botting activity until I got caught. Will attempt to overturn to 72hrs, sell off all my gold I accrued, then quit.
While I didn't always monitor my bot, I used the safest precautions possible via LogMeOut and Parrot Paranoia which practically ensured that I would not get banned via player reports. I always used private profiles as well which involved very long and complex routes, so it would be nearly impossible to detect any sort of farming pattern.
Until recently, I never botted for more than 6 hours a day and monitored it more heavily then as well. I had been botting on my main account for 5+ years w/o any trouble. I think this goes to show that if you bot modestly then you'll be fine. It's when you get greedy that the Ban-hammer will get you eventually.
