takes a while to get into it, I've had honorbuddy for a few months and only just started to seriously use it to make gold... Even then it's only for myself (not selling gold etc).
My honest opinion would be to get 2x chars to 90. Once your druid's there level a DK - use Kicks Questing Profiles 1-90 using the questbot (Cava's questing profiles are also a good choice) and then use professionbuddy or gatherbuddy profiles to get a couple of gathering professions (mining+herb+fishing for example) to max level on your druid and then some crafting professions like JC or Alchemy on to max level on the newly levelled DK.
you can then use the buddymanager plugin, HBrelog plus some profiles from the GB2 Profiles section of this forum to schedule some gathering time - i.e. 30mins flying gathering in Kun Lai, 40mins flying gathering in Jade Forrest, 1 hour fishing in krasarang, switch characters, 2 hours grinding motes/skyshards in Vale (for example) and buddymanager will autoswitch profiles. set the name of your DK as the alt to mail items to once your bags are full. Once you've done some gathering and the items have been sent to your dk you can either keep them, put them on the AH raw or craft some flasks, potions and prospect ore into gems which you can cut to put on the ah or make into jewelry etc.
it's not massively complicated, it just takes some time and effort. I wouldn't suggest putting loads of ore and herbs on the ah, it's more profitable (and less likely to get you caught) if you turn 100 cheap stacks of something into 10expensive stacks of something (if you know what I mean)
Above all, just read the forum - there are loads of guides around, experiment with different combat routines, plugins and profiles until you find the one that seems right for you... and the more human you can make it look, the better!
