I got a 72 hour ban last night. I am thinking it had something to do with Pool fishing Bot. I had been using HB up then just to gather skins. I decided to try and get some fishing done to work on the guild achievement and within an hour I got tagged. Oh well, guess I let that account chill till I get it back.

Account Name: WOW1

Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized ***** Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized ***** program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/antigold.html

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://us.blizzard.com/company/legal/index.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/exploitfaq

By any chance do you know if your bot had ever gotten stuck or died repetitively, that's a rough area to bot in anyways.

I had noticed that it kept getting stuck on one pool.

First.. know the difference between a ban and a suspension please.. 72hr is NOT ban.. a ban is perm.. .. sheesh

Secondly.. i would say 99.999% you were reported due to erratic behavior of your toon. I see it all the time when running my fishing bot, including my own, but i never let it run AFK for more then the time it takes to grab a drink, bite to eat and/or bio break. Its not an AFK type bot for most places unless you carefully make your own profile all the way down to blackspots.

I suggest with the pool fishing bot you run it in northernd, or outlands. Somewhere where there is very few players around.

Since its only for the achievement it doesn't matter that its old fish.
