Banned - Is it possible to start a new account? - Non Bot Account

I got caught in the December ban wave a couple of days ago. Wondering if I can get back online legitimately as I no longer want to use HB at all. Or would they ban the new account aswell? I have to wait 6 months for my Main account to be unbanned.

Just to be safe I would get rid of or archive (because you never know if you'll want to come back) all of your HB stuff. You should be good to go as long as you never run HB or any other 3rd party software when you're using that account.

Not necessarily true. I botted only on a testing account, and not on my main. Tester account got a suspension and main did not. I used the same computer for both and same IP for both. I've done this on two different computers/IP's.

I actually made a new account on my main bnet and i have not been banned has been over a week already i got hit on 3 accounts no vpn or vm whatsoever. Also all on same payment method.

What he said. Easiest method is to buy a battle chest from g2a.com (cheapest place I've found that's legit) and then have a friend recruit you onto a new battlenet account. That's what I do when I get banned no need to change ip or computer as you could be another person / friend / family / roommate with the same ip or computer playing legit. Just don't be dumb and never afk bot.
