Banned in november banwave, do I get more time on sub?

Hello, my account got hit during the november banwave, and I got a 6 month ban. I had a 1 year honorbuddy subscription at the time, which is still active. I didn't know this before, but I heard from a friend who also uses buddy bots that I can get time back on the subscription because I was banned.

Is this true, and if it is, how do I go about getting time back? I'm sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place.
