Banned for purchasing SoR accounts.

I'd like to input my experiences with buying SoR accounts off Pr3cious or anyone at all.

I purchased two account recently... EU servers. Paid my money. Merged the accounts into my main bnet account.

Over the next couple of days i dealt with the SoR and managed to get some desireable lvl 80 chars in that account. Including successfuly using of the SoR to boost a char. All seemed well. I hadn't paid for any gametime.

This morning however.... BOOM! "Account Banned" notice. "Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy".

Its a kicker because obviously... i wanted those chars and had planned to move them to my main bnet account.

My word of warning/advice to other looking to work around the SoR acocunt system is ... DON'T

1. The accounts you buy will all be on other realms/factions so you'd have to pay EXTRA money to have those chars moved to your main account.

2. You have no idea what this account has been up to... so even suggesting that you do open it successfully, chances are you will only get sniffed out eventually anyway.

3. Save the money guys! Its quite a large number of Euros to pay for something which is likley to get banned anyways.

Its not that we're being "mis-sold" by the SoR seller. Its just that there are too many unknown factors for the venture to be safe.

Hi Bad,

The issue with SoR accounts is that you have to transfer the boosted character immediately, otherwise they will get banned. I have 9 SoR accounts purely for the boosted account, all of which have been banned after merging. There's no point contesting the ban as they will ask you for your ID so they can ensure that the SoR account is actually yours.

yeah... i noticed that the EU support system requires physical real world ID! Which is a bit much!

I bought two SoR accounts... hopefully I can use the experience to learn better in the future.

Whats worrying is the fact that I had to contact customer services to ask them a question about WHY the SECOND SoR account didn't receive the SoR in the first place! Oh God!

Also worrying are the reports that non-botting accounts are being banned purely through association with "naughty" accounts! Eeeghad!

With regards to the second SoR not receiving the invite.. did you send the invite from the same battle.net acc? You can only send so many invites from a certain account. Best thing to do is have a friend on the same server as you send an invite to you
