Banned for own stupidity

Hey guys,

I just received a ban on one of my booting accounts during leveling.

I leveled 73-81 during one day using Shaloazar Herb/Mining leaving me alot of stuff ( around 1000 Stacks of old stuff ).

Using Profession Buddys AHBot profile the bot flooded the with stuff, after about 8 hours I received a ban.

So here again the warning... Don't flood the AH

How did it flood? Just by setting up tons of stacks, or by the bot (setup) failing? Like making stacks of 1 item each or smth like that?

How long was the ban btw?

banned forever

it added everything but undercuttting itself which also might have been a reson having 100 stacks each having an other price
so i think it was my fault not configuring it proper.

The account is not registered on my name and I use a host for my mails blizzard does not sends mails to ( did not even receive the you are banned mail )
so i will just leave it as it is i used it to RAF a year ago or so and it was updated to cataclysm using scroll of resurection, so it was not even worth any money

im glad they have that kind of automatic banning in place, that is so annoying seeing 100s of stacks in the ah going for little of nothing, ban well deserved.

well deserved? it was clearly stated that he did not config properly which resulted in the ban. i feel bad for him xD

A guy on my server botted 24/7 and at the end of all his cycles would unload everything onto the ah. I think everyone reported him after he had 3,000 stacks of whiptail up there for 5g a stack. Seeing as how there are only 22k auctions on my server on average and his ore stacks were up over 1,000 each, he was banned pretty quickly.

It can be worth to appeal. These sort of bans are one of the most easiest to overturn and by doing so, you can continue where you left off

I just got 2 of these, normaly they turn into 72 hour bans or a straight up account restore
