I have NEVER EVER advertised for third party services and spam game channels? I've used the super guild invite addon which I thought was legal(?)
HOW did this happen then?!

You just answered your own question....

The addon may be legal but if you set it to spam than that activity is illegal.

It is a bit harsh though. Have you had suspensions before? If not then you should definitely mail them that you didn't know it was illegal and that your sorry and won't do it ever again. Should turn it into a temp suspension.

Also check if your account perhaps has been hacked. Hackers might use a hacked account to spam gold advertisment

Sent a ticket and they opened my account, here u go:

It would seem that using the addon caused your account to appear as a gold seller / hacker controlled account due to the number of reports your account received. Having reviewed this I can see you did not intend that and have removed the ban.

Please be careful in the future with that addon though, as it generates a huge amount of spam potentially and people will report you for it.

Friend was banned from using that but they unbanned him - he then quit. LOL

I got 2 3 hour bans with that addon, after they expire I just go right back to spamming
