Banned, first time botting in 3 MONTHS.

no, i dont know if u can count pingzapper but i had it turned on once by accident.

Ok, i have NEVER been banned EVER EVER EVER, i just bought a hbuddy key like yesterday, ran 1-600 mining/herb ONE NIGHT from like 350-500, then bam i go afk 1 hour while bg botting, come back to the dreadful login screen to see the even more terrifying ban hammer... its a ban for "hacks" , i put in a ticket saying i had no idea why im banned blah blah, really not expecting to get unbanned, so sad this can happen to someone, i paid 30 bucks to lose my account in 1 night of botting..... are you kidding me.....

If this appeal gets rejected like im guessing it will, what should i do? should i call? try and make up a different excuse in a new appeal? prolly just screwed...

If you read the forums first before just using the bot you would have known bgbuddy is not safe right now. It's the fastest and most common ban, The developers should really disable it in the mean time.

People need to do BGBuddy till arena ^^ otherwise they lose out on 1800 conquest points... just don't go afk .

BG Buddy is fine imo as long as you're watching it and making sure to tend to it when it acts stupid. Even during the start of the "BGBuddy is detectable" pandemic that people started believing I was using BGBuddy for multiple hours per day still earning those honor points. I'm not using it now because all my toons have full Malev now, but as long as you pay attention to it and always make sure you watch it 100% it's not as risky as people say.

However AFK BGBuddy is asking for your account to get banned. The bot does so many stupid things that if you don't watch it as much as you basically would if you were playing it then you're asking for a ban. You really only have to unstuck the bot, stop and start it a few times and make sure it's not endlessly running in to enemies. I was running 4 accounts with BGBuddy in the same party at one point.

That right there is lol and you are so unaware to what is going on right now. I have not gotten any bans from using bg buddy either, but go use it now and see how fast you get banned, I bet you won't because I know I won't. I use to level my guys just using bgbuddy on alterac valley and never received a ban since cataclysm. I stopped using this method due to the increase in bans and the player reports. Even if you watch your bot that will not stop you from getting a banned. I have had accounts banned full supervision, no whispers and just instantly disconnected with a ban.

Mate it is bad idea to bot BG-s. I am botter and I am afraid to go in BG and play by hand because maybe some smart ass gona report me. Battlegrounds and Gatherbuddy are related from the past. Just dont go there!
