Banned and refund

Just a not. Was playing and botting and then perma banned. Got annoyed, so reuested refund through pp for all time spent. Blizz never responded so I received over 8 months of game time and the original purchase back to me (refunded). About $150 in all. Made me feel better.

So you got banned for botting, then asked for a refund for all the time since you bought the account and the price of the account via paypal and Blizz never responded so paypal gave you it all back?

Maybe it would be interesting to know what exactly you wrote to PayPal? And how long did you wait to get it all back? a month?

He won just because Blizzard didnt respond. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. If Blizzard had answered to the dispute, he would've lost.

It is really hard to say. I have a friend who is an ebay seller. He told me that paypal always favors buyers especially for small amount of purchase price.

It would probably cost Blizzard more to answer to theses disputes. And it is very likely they have to refund anyway.

paypal do not favour buyers when it's about intangible items.
i won a number of disputes against blizzard. just because they didn't bother to answer. when they did, paypal gave reason to them and did not refund me.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. It took about a week for the resolution to default and they've refunded the money and it's now in the bank. Just wanted to confirm that it hit the account. Just said the card must've been compromised. 6 months in total transactions.

Blizzard didn't respond. I believe, like the other person mentioned, that because it was only about $100 in all that Blizzard wouldn't bother wasting the man time in resolving it. Won't make it a habit. Just a once off thing. Coz my toons were bloody well geared and I was a little sad. I'd never do this to an honest business, just these clowns.

Might use the refund to go towards a new shiny WoD account, lol. Nah. Missus is coming back in a month so no more wow for me.

How are they not honest when they have cleared warned you that you will be banned if you use bots?I mean, come on, surely you can see that you are in wrong here.

Mate. You're telling someone who clearly doesn't give a shit about your thoughts on moral decisions here. If I want something, I'll take it. I wanted my money back. Tried, and got it. You make your life choices any way you wish. But telling others is only gonna land someone's boot up your arse.

Be happy you got your money back from Blizz but do not think that make it right or even ok. bah
