Banned after only 5 hours of botting... US

Ive done some d3 botting before but this was my first time botting wow. I got to lvl 15 with around 4-5 hours botting and when I tried logging in today I was banned... I thought it was pretty much impossible getting banned after only 5 hours if HB is undetectable but maybe Im wrong there. Anyway, this rly sucked... Not sure if Ill continue with this now.

Bans are only issued after a player report. I bot 24/7 for the last 6 months never got reported. If I did get report it would result in ban. They're easy to appeal.

I did buy a used account so Im guessing it was flagged already. Cus how is it possible getting a permaban after only 5 hours of low lvl lvling? And Ive been botting different games the last 10 years so Im not rly new to the botting scene..

Hey Hetsig. Welcome to wow botting. I too came over from D3. Advise from me to you is dont be cheap with wow. Level all fresh new accounts from scratch. I bought like 20 SOR accounts and lost 15 of them. Now I just start from scratch.

yea guess I learned my lesson with this. Wont buy any used accounts again, thats for sure.

I though one usually got warnings or suspensions before a permament ban. Or am I wrong there?

they dropped the hammer without a warning on me today....it was a new acc i bought with CC, apparently they will ban you no matter if you bought it legit or not, so SOR acc it is from now on.

@hetsig No, they can and do ban on the first offence if they have enough evidence.

I have sold many of my botting accounts after i received and succesfully appealed my first ban on these accounts.
So buying 2nd hand accounts for botting is a big NO

Appeal and succeed? got 6+ bots banned where they've told me to screw myself.... little help ? Happy to tip on success.

That is really unlucky man, I've been reported before from players and still no bad, it's very random if they get ya or not, I'm botting 2 accounts have not received any bans, will I do it again if I loose my account prob not but then that's my decision and its not cause the bot doesn't work cause it does !!!

That won't save you, my 5 accounts that were banned yesterday were all bought during the $5 sale, and leveled slowly/painfully up to 90 the normal way - not even using refer-a-friend or heirlooms, because they were all on new realms.

Is there a good place to just buy a bunch of keys? or can that be a bad idea too?
Should i instead just stockpile some keys when wow goes on sale?

You are right nothing is sound proof of course but at least starting fresh you dont get your accounts locked because of the different names on the SOR and your own battlenet.
