This morning, it happened!
I logged on to see if the honorbuddy servers were up,
resulting in me logging on and out on several toons.

Suddently I was logged off and an error popped up when i tried to relog:
"This World of Warcraft account has been temporarily suspended. Please go to
(which by the way is a 404-page)
for further information."

So I logged on to my battle.net account to see if i could find the reason for the ban,
with a loop of panic thoughts in my head; "What did I do wrong? Do I dare continue botting?
How am I gonna structure my ban appeal? etc etc." - My battle.net page had no further information,
so it referred me to an e-mail, too bad, since I no longer have access to that e-mail account...

Anyway, a few automated texts, security codes and password changes later I managed to get my mail account back, and this is what I find:

"Greetings,

This is to inform you that action has been taken against your account. Please read on for further information about the action taken, and more details regarding the reason:

As Guild Leader, the name is your responsibility. While we regret to take this type of action, we have determined it to be in the best interests of the World of Warcraft community as a whole, and for the integrity of the game.
Please note that should any further violations of our Rules and Policies occur, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences for your account. This could include further warnings, account suspension or account termination.
Also note, you must log into the game after the suspension has expired to update the status of the account shown on your Account Management page.

Yes, I can.

I panicked because I thought that I was banned for botting,
instead I was suspended for the guild name.

Hence, the "I never thought I'd be this happy about a ban!"

IMO delete this thread...The name of this thread is waaaaay off and misleading. You make it sound like you were banned from botting from your title.

I made it misleading on purpose, that's the point of the thread:
I thought that I was banned for botting.

It is, after all, posted in /success-stores/.
God you are boring.

i.. i found it funny. shitting urself because banned for botting then finding out it was for a bad guild name hahahahhaha

LMAO awsome story, almost thought you posted in the wrong place till i read it and good comeback, i hate it when people dont read properly and almost sour the experience!!!!

thread closed, this has nothing to do with a bot ban ... you violated the naming policy for your guild
