4 of my friends have been banned using HonorBuddy, I have been away from gaming because of promotion at work.
I want to use HB but, I am worried that Blizzard is using hardware mac's now to ban past and future accounts.
How do we know if they can detect HB or not?

Don't bot if you can't afford to lose your account. Always a chance to get banned.

oh and dont use certain bot s at all if you want to keep your account. there are specific bots that Blizz is just playing games with.

Don't bot on an account you aren't ready to lose tomorrow. If you are worried about Blizzard banning "innocent" accounts based on IP / MAC / HWID / etc, the chances are tremendously low. If you get banned, you can just create a new wow account on the same B.net and be fine.

The title of your thread is in violation of forum policies.

If we knew how hb was detected, there wouldn't be banwaves.

ya know, all anyone has to do is report you for being a possible bot. All Blizz has to do is look and see if you are running 32 bit wow which they know if you are. If you are, they run a scan or background (netstat -a or -n) and look for the HB server IP (which Blizz knows), then ban you. Very simple and takes only 2 minutes to do.

What does this have to do with 32-bit? They could do the same thing for every bot report regardless of x86 or x64.
