ban risk after 18 months main account

Hi,

I have stopped playing wow since 18 months and now I would like to start playing again!
I botted like 5 days on my main account (grinding) and I transfered huge amounts of gold from my bot accounts to my mainaccount with guild bank transfer for several months.

Iam a little bit concerned about my account now. My question is:
Is it still possible that i get banned now after 18 months or is it safe to play after such a long time if i stop botting now?
 
There is always a chance to get banned but if they haven't take action and you're not going to keep doing that to your main account I don't think so, but keep it in low profile.

I've used to transfer a lot of gold too in the 300k+ in short periods like twice a week some times with longer periods, from guild bank to main never had any problems with that even thought I do think Blizzard might be on my tail lol.
 
Like I said I will stop botting from now on.
But is there really a chance to get banned after 18months?
Does blizzard still have the logs about my gold transfers? <.<

I would like to spend a lot of time in wow now, so I want to prevent a ban.
 
This is my personal point of view of your situation if they took no action so far and you're not going to do anything illegal I doubt they will bother with you however there is always a chance they could go after you and yes I do think they have records of everything its a big company I doubt they would drop logs that easily, specially if they need to review something for whatever reason.

But perhaps other members will have a different perspective ;)
 
Ok, Iam just a little bit overreacting with my concerns, I know :)
Although it would be nice to also hear some other members opinions.

Yes.. you can get banned after 18 months, or 10 minutes after logging into a new account..
ever (!) botted, glitched, duped or anything else that goes against the game rules (!) CAN (!) lead -> ban. It doesn't matter if you use the bot for 5 seconds, or for 50 months..
If some1 knew how to tell when accounts get banned, then they'd be covered in more young females offering their bodies for the formula..

I just thought that it could be that there are no logs left after 18 Months+
I know that nobody can give me a chance in % for an account ban...I thought everything would be clear after such a long time.
 
Dude don't worry after 18 months you won't be banned, but if you do, talk to sephirofl and he will probably unban you.
 
Thanks for your opinion but who is "sephirofl"?

edit: started playing wow now...i think that the risk is minimalist after 18 months, like you said. Btw during the time I botted I never got any suspension, so my main account isn't flagged or anything!

Ok, I read a little bit about him, very interesting. But I think that this won't be necessary for me.
Are there some more opinions about my situation?

THINK about the question before you ask, have you broken the rules of the game: yes/no
does blizzard ban for that? yes..
is botting = 100% ban? not immediately
can blizzard wreck your account if they want to? yes..
after 18 months, it CAN still happen.. and no1 knows how long they keep logs for ;)

and why on earth would you ever pay somebody to write an appeal saying "ohh gosh, i was so stupid.. my friend sent me this program and i opened it once and i got banned" /crying baby tears and a violin playing a sad song in the background as he writes it

it's not as if he's got a personal GM ;P the chances of him getting your account unbanned is just as good if you do it youself, unless you go "hm, i botted for 12 months.. but now im banned, can i have my account back please?"
 
Of cause it CAN happen, I'm aware of that. But the important thing is what happens in most cases. I don't care if there is a 0,1% chance of getting banned.
Just wanted to know if it's very likely or unlikely to get a ban this late.
 
Zimpe that's what everyone told you so far there is no right answer to your question only the vague assumption that you could be fine as is or ...
 
Dude, there is 0% chance your license will be banned unless you do anything illegal. If blizzard ever had any evidence they would have banned you already. You have nothing to worry about.
 
He unbanned one of my accounts, very trustworthy and competent
