I've been botting for about 2 weeks, I've always stayed within my city (in my local park areas) and never sniped or even left my city or state. I rested at pokestops, kept a jogging pace, all the works.

Today I got the banhammer.

I don't quite understand what I did wrong, but oh well, such is the price to pay.



Edit: I had an account that I made last week, logged into once, botted for 5 minutes and logged out. I never logged into that account again since that day.

I tested it just now, banned as well.

How.. interesting.

Alrighty, sorry.

I set my speed at Jogging 10.8km/h
Catch, Loot, Transfer all checked.
Incense checked, Lucky Egg NOT checked
Stay near Lured Pokestop checked.

Transfer settings on with basic settings and keep 1 with highest CP/IV

Recycle settings off.

I would not run it more than 2 hours.

I did use NecroBot briefly last week before it was taken down, but only for a brief moment to transfer/check IV's, did not leave it on for more than a few minutes at a time. This was before PokeFarmer had a good IV check system as it does now.

No other bots used other than those mentioned above.

I only ever took over 1 gym by my work place, with decent pokemon (I used my Eggsecute 1810 CP as a placeholder) I figured that was a reasonable one to use at level 23

That's the long and short of it.
