Ban report conspiration? How to confirm bans?

Recently I botted 24/7 with Gatherbuddy and I flood AH but nothing happen tho I am expecting a ban hammer. Since then I starts to suspect that many of ban reports we have were faked. They do it to scare away other botters and thus less nodes competition. Another theory is that possibly these fake reports and made by Blizzards agent to spreads fear to reduce bot activity and influence potential HB customer decision to purchase. This is very negatively impacts HB's revenue imo.

I suggest ban report TS can opt to get confirmed, ban report thread starter can send his/her banned account's username & password to Tony or any admin so they try login can check if that account is truly banned. So we now have two types of ban report thread, regular and confirmed one.

Do you think it is a good idea? Or maybe you have a better suggestion? Let us know.

Not a good idea.

If you're that paranoid, you could dismiss any ban reports that belongs to members who's been around for less than a year.
But asking to get someone from the administration team to confirm every single ban report (some include over 10 accounts), is a waste of their time which is probably better spent on the forums helping members.

It's really a matter of luck when comes to bans. Yes, how you bot is a major factor. But if you bot excessively and are lucky enough to go unnoticed, then that's that.

Blizzard is ruthless when it comes to "Obvious" botters.
Thing is, they need to find them first, and player reports helps get 90% of that done.
