Ban question

If your account gets banned, does that mean you have to repurchase the entire set of wow and it's expansions all over again, or just a serial?

IE - if you have wow - BC - WotLK - Cata = ban... do you have to replace all of them (like 80 bucks worth) or just get a new account, and if so... what's the best way to do that?

its the entire account, so everything from basic, to cata, you need to re-buy everything, but its better if your making a new account to bot on, then just level till you reach cap, then buy the next one.

Good to know, Thanks for the information. Getting a little nervous about botting on my main - but i dont want to pay for a second account. Maybe it's time to reconsider it.

The chance to get banned can be reduced though.
- Don't use public profiles - make your own
- Don't use the Auction House, or only post about 10-15 auctions at once. Get private buyer(s).
--- Don't undercut by too much. Posting Inferno Rubies which are about 200g for 50g each isn't ideal
--- Don't send 50 stacks of the same item a day to any perm buyers. Get multiple if required, and split up.
- Don't farm for too long. Maximum 8 hours a day I'd say, and take breaks of 24 hours sometimes.
- Don't stay in the same area for several hours - if you plan to bot 8 hours, farm in two different zones.
- Don't afk.
- Get a good Class config. Singular may not be ideal for some classes/specs.
- Don't ever brag about how much stacks of any item you have. Telling someone that you got 50 stacks of Inferno Ruby may be risky.
- Turn off "Ninja Nodes" when Herbing/Mining.
- Get decent gear on any farming character. A level 85 in level 70 epics is quite obvious. Get cataclysm epics or blues.

No facts, but thats what I'm doing to minimize the chance of getting a ban. Botting for a few months almost daily now, and not gotten banned (yet?).
