Ban [July 03] Demon Buddy + Immortal [UPDATED]

Firstly, from the other thread - I'm not sure if this is an EU only ban.

This is apparantly affecting all bots!

I have been using DemonBuddy, HellB, ImmBot and AutoIt to bot on 5 accounts. (1x DB, 2x HB, 1x IB, 1x AutoIt)

DB was banned doing Sarkoth on a Monk. 400k/hr 24/7. For over a week.
EDIT: Update: ImmBot banned. 11:50PM GMT.
IB was banned doing NM Core on a DH. 550k/hr 24/7. For over a week.

To those upset, ban waves are just a part of botting. Continue at your own risk.

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:

I always aimed for 20 hours, but including disconnects, gold transfers etc, I guess I'd average around 18 hours a day.

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?

Quite a lot actually, my computer and laptop are in the same room and my bots run on my PC whilst I use my laptop often, I don't work so I am able to supervise my bots all the time through the day. With the new Inrego, often my bot would mess up teleporting and I'd have to manually move the character, sometimes overnight bag would be full and bot would stand there not doing anything. That's all I can really think of in this matter though.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?:

I didn't use the AH much on my Demon Buddy bot, only to sell Gems in the GAH.

7.5) Did you use the Real Money Auction House (RMAH)?

No.

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, Mods, or Exploits?

I had 4 bots running as much as possible, 2x Hell Buddy, 1x Demon Buddy, 1x Immortal.

The Immortal Bot and the Demon Buddy bots were both banned within 1 hour. They were my longest owned and farmed accounts. Both were botting for 2-3 weeks+. The two bots that were not banned have only been botting for a few days.

I never mixed botting programs on any account, I always used 1 bot program per character - due to Immortal and Demon Buddy sales both being down.

On my Immortal Bot I also used a key_spam v1.2.

On my 5th account, my main account, I have used AutoIt scripts to power level my bots. My main account remains unbanned.

9)Was your account involved in gold selling?

Every day I would transfer all the gold from my bots to my main account and sell the gold from my main account. So technically yes it was involved in gold selling, but not directly.

10)What server region where you connected to (The Americas, Europe or Asia)?

I'm thinking about offloading all my gold / items for now until this breezes over. But I'm pretty sure that this will be a Demon Buddy affecting wave only.

Yup a new patch would fix all the problems! Just because it's one bot now doesn't mean your others aren't going down...

All the speculation on this forum with bans.... The real truth, we will all never know...

Wow.. Another 24/7 thread. Why exactly did you make this again? Oh, and what exactly do you need a patch for? DB, diablo, your knee?
 
guys, if you're going to bot 24/7... change profiles often. I'm sure Blizzard simply put in scripts for ppl who kill stuff too much or are online too much

Write us a profile that does sarkoth, core, other areas randomly every few hours it switches spots :)
 
I see the pattern, that most of the bans are related so sarkoth. The reason that only db bots are getting targetted, could be that other bots havent got profile to run cellar? (a friend said that immortal bot wouldnt do sarkoth at least). So i suggest really reducing the ammount of time you spend there, follow kicks suggestion and swap profiles abit, even if core is less gph. My char running there is still going strong, where as all my sarkoth farmers is MiA.
 
DB needs a remake, these run kill rinse repeat profiles are really really dumb. We need a bot that can do entire acts at once. That would reduce the risk of detection and bans. Don't get me wrong tho i love DB and the buddy team, but we need a new bot.

I said nah bc I do questing, not farming... I don't code the bot nor the plugins. That's the dev team
 
Think im gonna chill abit on sarkoth. This freaking banwave on sarkoth farming is making me twitchy! Too bad nothing else farms as efficient as sarkoth!
 
My ImmBot (Arrat Core) was just banned, updated original post.
 
It seems like blizzard finally pull their heads from their asses

Something like this would be awesome. But would it be able to include a gear swap? Because Sarkoth and core at least for me recuires different sets of gear or uber expensive sets.
