Ban confirmation from niantic.

As the title says, has anyone actually gotten an email from Niantic stating that x account has been banned?

I haven't received one yet but am getting the can't get data from server error, (whether that's perm or temporary we don't know for sure yet)

They don`t reply to my appeals, so I guess the rest is self explanatory...

We have received your appeal. Our goal is to provide a fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone. Use of any other third-party software or app, including but not limited to scripts/apps, applications used to falsify your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner is considered cheating.

Please consider your account permanently terminated unless we reply back to your appeal.

I believe some developer accounts did get an email along with cease and desist letters. But as far as players? No, none confirmed.
