Ban - Botting Detected? Interesting read - HB Developer insight pls.

As the title says.. I have done quite a few tests for the community and have lost all of my accounts, excluding my main.


8 days ago - i botted 3 bots on the same IP, and all 3 got banned within 1 hour (On top of the previous 5 accounts banned) of using Honorbuddy / Gatherbuddy ( Elwynn forest)
After this happend i was about to throw in the towel and say fk this bot its not worth it.

I decided to level 3 more bots just for shits and gigs.

I leved all 3 on seperate vmware accounts, through a *** and while i was running my Main account, and leveling the bots via Dungeons in grup i got to level 85 in 2 days.
So..

Yesterday, i started leveling Mining / herb on each account on Each VMware, and to my luck i got to about 250 skill and my mage got disconnected, so i was like meh internet, and i was botting the other 2, and took control of 1 of them down in Stranglethorn, and personaally gathered for bout 10 mins after my 1 char was kicked offline, and the 2nd bot, i stopped HB and he was floating.

didnt get any PM, no port, no nothing. I physically clicked the Red X on my games and exited them. 1 min after i got a letter of Perma Suspension.

Now, i have NO clue.. how they could think i was the same person =x but in all honesty,

DONT USE THIS PROGRAM

unless your willing to spend hundreds of dollars, countless hours leveling over and over and over.



Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but i dont know whats up.

i have spent all my gold on expansions, i have about enough gold for 1 more expansion. to give it 1 more shot





I plan o ncalling my Internet provider, tellin them to change my Physical IP, i plan on Reienstalling windows on my computer so i get a different HKEY_LOCAL_USER Identity key.



Im not 100% sure this will work, but i need to make some of the gold back =(

Is honorbuddy 100% detected now ??? since the last 4-8 days ?? all the bans??

Maybe one of our Fearless developers can give us some insight please

Did you use a virtual private network that provided a locked IP address which didn't change?

When you get banned enough, you get tracked.. I get the feeling that you are the kind of person they track

well.. i ended up doing some research and im not sure if this is going to help maybe you can tell me ?


Basically, i wentinto my Netgear router, changed 2 numbers in the mac address and restarted it. poped back online and did WHATS MY IP, and it was different than when i started.

so i did it again, changed a different number and all 4 catagories had a different number then the pervious attempt.

so i successfully changed my IP, ok great.. is this going to help me ?? i mean, as far as loging into my account.. i didnt get a "suspuicious activity, account locked" which is kinda what i was aiming for lol.

Also.

if you run "REGEDIT" -- HKEY_LOCAL_USER>Software>Blizzard Entertanement>Battle.net>Identity> the REG_BINARY - was told by a few different people that this is how blizzard tracks you. so if you ran 3 diff bots, on 1 computer.. This is where blizz will f* you.

SO my question --- If i did a FULL system restore, and changed my IP again. would this REGISTRY Key change? be completely different, so i could have somewhat of a Fresh start, no way for a certain blizz employee to say "Oh lets look this specific guy up, and ban all his bots again!"

Only people who know for certain pls give an answer =D
