Badboy Anti-Spam - Bot Addon?

Okay, so I know several botters use this addon to avoid getting whispers, but isn't it a dead giveaway that you're a bot if you're using the addon to begin with? Who else would really need to block messages from people?

It seems advantageous for people who want to try and talk to you and see if you're a bot, but even if he suspected me as a bot and got the addon reply, I doubt it would make him any less suspicious.

The one angle I like is using an addon to block on tells and then have it send back the message "Only respond to tells from people on my Friend's list". Is a very legit way of handling it if you think about it and wouldn't cause most people a second glance.

I just downloaded this addon because i have heard from a bunch of places this addon is great for botting but i have questions if anyone can please answer them

1. How do I set the message for it to say "Only respond to tells from people on my Friend's list" when i type /badboy in-game i dont see any options for me to put this

2. Does this addon report people if they are below the level required to talk to you (which i set to 86 of course so no one can talk to me) because i read on curse that it reports people or something like that.

3. I downloaded the core of it and the Badboy_Levels thing but havnt downloaded the CC one but will try to see if it helps

I used to block all chat in the old days, I loved questing and ignoring people when there were no guilds around and such hah. Not a dead giveaway if you ask me, you can set the automessage to anythign you wish. *Player has blocked random whispers due to gold spammers, sry* etc.. It's a good IMPORTANT thing to have to be safe .

That is one of Curse:s top 20 downloaded addons. With all the goldspam shit going on that is one of the most popular anti spam addon out there. So no way using it would be a give away that you are botting.

I use this and i used it before any one said anything about using it for boting my servers have lots of gold spammers.

Is the blocking people feature (aka Badboy_Levels) working for anyone because on curse it shows that its outdated but the maker of it has only updated the core part Badboy and hasnt updated Badboy_levels yet and its not working for me.

I would also like to know this because when i try to do it it only gives me a set message which is about you need to be level 86 to talk to me , i cannot find any option on how to change the text any answer for this would be great

In your World of Warcraft addons folder will be a folder called Badboy_Levels. In this folder is a file called badboy_levels. Edit this file with wordpad or something similar. The third line reads
local whisp = "BadBoy_Levels: Default Text.", where default text is whatever it was originally, I've edited it out with my response and don't remember what it originally said. Change the text in between the quotation marks to whatever you want your auto-response to be and you're golden.
