Yesterday I was watching GB, I died trying to get the icethorn on the edge of a cliff in Terrace of the Makers, stopped GB, made a badnode entry by hand and started GB. I was told you only need an entry for one type of herb/ore and GB will not go near that spot, I even asked for a simple little proggy to process all badnodes locations and make all possible spawns in that one location have their own badnode location made, I was told GB doesn't work that way and we don't need that program.

This morning watching GB again it comes across the same node but with Lich Bloom this time, and my character tries to harvest it and falls off the edge of the cliff again, even though the location is blacklisted for Icethorn

Is badnodes working properly in this release ?

Does blacklist during manouver work the same way as a badnode as underground node ?

Do we need a badnodes parse to fix the problem ?

G

I always put all ore, or herbs applicable to the location... its a simple copy / paste and edit of the name. I used to have a problem with it still not doing nodes in Icecrown, so I simply stopped botting there

If GB isn't working in Ice Crown, devs need to know, this needs to be fixed.

If GB can generate a bad node for say saronite on the fly, it should generate a badnode for titatnium and rich saronite at the the same time then, same with herbs, needs changing I guess.

Someone needs to write a badnodes check and modify proggy then :)

G, I haven't botted Icecrown in 6 months, but I think they fixed it after Hawker enabled the "forced" blacklisting when GB starts

nope, mine says 95 nodes in built in blacklist. <br>
links all nodes

so mine works fine. Maybe you guys aren't making the blacklists correctly?

edit: OHHHH Lich Bloom is 1 word: Lichbloom

hey for do what in badnodes i must just do the position in bad nodes xml list ? ( 5049,489, 4736,163, -131,6056 )

Ok, early morning typo by me, or is GB doing that ?, at work now and can't check badnodes.xml. But the Icethorn one was there from the day before, it should of stopped GB going near the location altogether.

Where did you find how many badnodes were built ?

G

FFS, fell off the cliff in the exact same spot again :(

8375.912, -873.9215, 891.9465 (38.16, 38.36 are the ingame co-ords if someone wants to camp it and test it, terrace of the makers)

ARE BADNODES WORKING IN THIS RELEASE IN OR NOT ?

Works fine, just stop being a noob. Remove the commas between the XYZ coords in your badnodes file, also make sure you have the correction regional settings for . and ,

Ahh FUCK, that was easy :) missed the obvious, thanks for pointing that out. Maybe the "my Location" button should dump the co-ords without the comma's in it.

G

Yeah remove the comma's. Soon as you start GB open up the debug log and make sure the bad nodes where loaded. if one is not working it will show that.

95 nodes in built in blacklist.
Nodes added from badNodes.xml: 93

I have the node I am trying to avoid listed 3 times.

Still went there this morning and fell off the cliff :( I have no idea why it doesn't work.

I am rather certain the following is an example of the correct syntax:

Code:
<bad_location><name>Saronite Deposit</name><waypoint>7180,217 -2830,263 826,3011</waypoint><comment>Automatic blacklist during manouver loop 03-06-2010 19:15:21 </comment></bad_location>

As far as im aware it should look like this

<bad_location><name>Frozen Herb</name><waypoint>5828.274 3625.264 -6.950737</waypoint><comment>Automatic blacklist during manouver loop 12-8-2010 17:57:23 </comment></bad_location>

No commas between the co-ordinates is the correct way I believe. It would be nice if GB dumped out the co-ordinates in this way so we all don't make newbie mistakes like I did when cut and pasting.
