There's nothing in EB itself that changed to cause it to work worse than before/ It's using the same logic as before for almost everything that could have an effect. The game client itself did change quite a bit. A lot of areas are much larger than they were before, which has a negative effect when botting and pulling objects from memory. If you're using Lockstep, the bot is actually doing less pathfinds now than it was before, which could add some extra overhead. I think the model of loading objects needs to possibly change to improve performance, but that's a huge change and not something that can be tested short term.
