Fack... not going to bother filling any form out, but botting is definitely not safe at the moment. They nabbed me immediately after I sold from my bags.

Account Name: ***

Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Impact of Buying Gold - Services - World of Warcraft

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment:Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website https://us.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here: https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

For any disputes of this action or further information on exploitive activity, please visit the Account Administration Overview and contact page here: Account Administration Overview - Battle.net Support

Like people say its never safe to bot maybe u just got unlucky- full server? -how long did you bot for?

Was botting for roughly 3 hours today... Tony connected to my computer earlier in the day and got my stuff running.

Well this is sure solid proof that none of us should sell from our bags.

O.o

this really pisses me off, got one of these myself a while back... why the f**k blizzard dont have to prove anything???? what hacks , what teleportation ..... wtf ... isnt anybody rich enough to sue this bastards?

The makers of HB are suing Blizzard in Germany, but it'll take time, and IDK if they'll win TBH.

International law is very strange, and German law is stranger- it's not American in the slightest. I'm unsure as to how this works, but it's interesting as hell. They probably have to adhere to international doctrines which are American controlled.

i want a refund for the 72 hours i got banned. if someone knows good english and can understand that eula law, is there a point that says that they can ban us anytime without refunding the lost game time?
if they acusse me for stealing for using a bot, what is called their act when they steal my wallet for REAL MONEY?

i have a few questions to those their accounts were deleted: they got back the money for the lost game time and the value of the game? i mean its a nice way for bliz to make money out of boters by deleting their accounts and forcing them to make new ones.

Legally they're in the right to do whatever they want. Read the EULA that you click "I accept." However, you can't sell people things which expire only when you say they do- with prejudice... that is unconstitutional! In a sense, being prejudice against botters is unconstitutional and should be brought up at some time.

Yes, it states that in very plain English.

It doesn't take long to read the EULA/ToS. You realize, once you do read it, how completely legally unaccountable blizzard is to subscribers. The servers could go down for a month and they'd have no legal reason to give anyone their money back. It would be terrible business not to, but that's not the point.

so the law protects the company but not the customer?

but because of the customers a company exists

i dont think that is right.

when aion started, i bought the game and tried to login to one server. the waiting time was 20h (!). i wrote them a mad letter asking of my money and i got credited the full amount and account deleted.
if the law protects only the company the Koreans wouldnt refund me.
so maybe there is something that protects the customer.

there is no law in the planet that allows a company to do whatever they want. ppl win everyday fights with companies and banks (i work in one) with big legal departments. when a company decides that my account must be closed they must refund me the total value of the game bought (in the past prices) the remaining game time value, the pet and mount value im not allowed to use anymore etc.
and i dont know if they should refund us for the lost maintenance time hours every week since we bought a game 24/7. i read their terms and found nothing about what they provide to the customer. so unless there isnt a term that the customer accepts after deleting saying im accepting of NO REFUND if account is deleted by force they should return all the above

remember a company isnt goverment.

also before my first ban i ve noticed something: my character suddenly started moving back and forward and after that started jumping. the first time i thought it was a bug of hb or some prob with the profile - i was in uldum fishing.
yesterday when i was farming cloth in twilight highlands for personal use, my toon started to move exactly the same. i pressed escape and it stopped. NO BAN.
so maybe they are running a program in the cata areas that makes toons act like that.
if you noticed something like that before the ban perhaps there is a way to avoid it.

same thing happened right now at sholazar basin. i was fishing and suddenly my toon changed weapons and i couldnt log out. i had to reboot my pc.

17:00 GMT +2 Athens. perhaps they run a program at certain times
