I feel like a noob for posting this.

I told an rl friend that bot,he saved the msn convo, and started talkig about me botting in gchat andthreatening that he would report me, all because a chick he likes is into me.

What would be the best course of action? i reay dont want to loose my 85 farmer.
 
Tell him that he's not your friend if he does shit like that... and blizz doesn't care about msn convo's. Don't let ppl blackmail you.

Also, never bot on an account that you don't want to lose. But if he's being a douche and blackmailing you / attempting to ban you, simply GM ticket that he is trying to blackmail you to get you banned for stuff that you're not doing, and they will ban him
 
the problem is that he busted it out in gchat, now eveeryone knows, im pretty sure im reported already.

Nobody cares if you bot in gchat, and if they do... u need a new guild anyways. Mine doesn't... they actually buy herbs/ore from me and I had to go from 3 bots on my server to 6 just to acommodate
 
I wouldn't worry about it. if you want to be safe, don't bot for a week or so. You'll be fine. Just remember, "he said she said" hold no value. Even a text document would hold no value.

stay low if you think you've been reported, halt massive auctions. dont move around ur gold too much.
roll a new alt or play your main and play as per normal. Don't admit to anything. Say no i did not, no i didnt . Point that your buddy is lying.
Even if the facts are already in your face. Say no that's not mine/me.
 
I don't even think I would believe someone telling me that a guildmate was botting....
I wouldn't farm for a few days...and get a new guild
Even if they don't believe him they will whisper you when you're farming to test it.
I would even think about changing my toons name...but that may be a bit paranoid :)

Meh, i quit the guild with my farmer and changed its name, the only that worries me now is that my unbotted main is still in the guild, i cant afford to change his name right now.
 
your fine believe me, don't be too paranoid. act normal in the guild and all should be fine really.
