Hey guys. My first success story was my level 85 mage. He is geared with some decent stuff... but honestly I don't play him. Mages are... not very fun IMO. Anywho... Here is another success story!!!!

Race: Gnome
Class: Priest
Spec to lvl: Disc
Time played 1-85: 8 days 10 hours.

1-60: Done with Kick's Ally Leveling profiles.
60-85: Done with archaeology.

This was a very straight forward leveling experience. When I dinged 85, I had gotten a total of 525 archy, 19 rares (including Bug mount from tol'vir) and quite a bit of tablets that I have sold.

1-60 required some baby sitting as usual, but that's alright I expected it. 60 to 85 required some bot restarting, training, ect ect but was 99% afk-able.

Now I am at 6 level 85's. 2 of which are botted the rest done by hand. This IS MY MAIN ACCOUNT. I understand it is unsafe... but I play it safe, and I am very lucky to have HB. Thanks HB for another patch update and GL against blizzard.

idk, for me i had a blast with my level 80 mage back in wrath, but i didn't like my priest, i liked the IDEA of a priest more then the actual class. its like a mage is like playing RainbowDash Really fast, can do a lot of dps but still easily kill-able if people know how to kill you because your not a tank, and a Priest is like playing Fluttershy looks cute people love her, but ultimately really squishy and when you die people blame you because your not able to take a hit.

Haha that's pretty funny. Honestly... the priest is meh as well. I am going to level a lock next, I'll use your CC and hopefully it's not like all the fail priest CC's I had to deal with. >_> lol

Mages are easyer to level then priest, i know because i had to write CC's for both, priest are just REALLY hard to level, because they cant take hits, anything more then 2 mobs on you and your screwed. mages i can sometimes handle 5 mobs on my mage and still live (using frost) warlocks are almost on that level, but can still be really a little more of a PITA, just go demonology.
 
try 1-80 again (via questing), i fixed a LOT of issues these last 2 weeks! (both factions)

Alright, Im gonna level a new toon, I have only used your alliance profiles. Looking forward to trying your horde profiles
 
what did you do about gear on your priest? i levelled my shaman 80-85 with AB and ive had some trouble gearing up just for normal cata instances, don't know how I would manage if I had level 60 gear

Spent around 30k on boe's, made the whole 377 vicious cloth set and within a few hours I was 378.
 
You know, I started a hunter and began leveling him with the kick 1-58 quest profile. I've had to babysit him quite a bit and I'm just wondering if once I get 60 if I should continue to try to use the quest profiles, or should I change and level him with arch bot.

Any insight?

P.S. Hunter is currently level 38 after a few days running here and there.

I disagree here, altho I also find priest a boring class but I leveled one recently, and I can say it was very easy. I was leveling as discipline, since 61+ I was able to AoE 5+ mobs without dying or going out of mana in 60-80 bracket I never ever had a need to stop for mana nor I died it was very easy. About the Frost mages you can kill a lot more than 5 mobs I was killing 15-20 mobs at once, frost nova>blizzard>pet nova>blizzard and you stand at max distance if by any chance they dont die when they get near you > cone of cold freeze > blink > blizzard again and if they are still not dead then something is wrong with you :P , also with the talent that makes smite heal you just cant die from 2 mobs even if you are single targeting them, same goes for shadow 3 mind spikes > mind blast (instant crit) = dead thats for 81+ tho

Well archy bot is a LOT slower to level, but I find it a lot better to run when I am not there to watch it. I can let it run overnight ect and its good. Archy gets you a lot of achvs, possiblity of some cool and good rares ect ect. I havn't had much luck with any BC profiles... and I have yet to try a northrend profile. Just test out each one for a few hours and see which you like better.
 
Is the Arch bot safe to use? I mean.. I know botting in general is unsafe. But I use to use LazyBot and read numberous threads of the Archeology bot being detected by blizzard.

My main has about 230 Arch, and I've wanted to boost it up manually but it just seems so boring!

Which Arch profile do you use if you even use one?
 
The archy bot has no profiles. You go to a continent ( I prefer Eastern Kingdoms ) and you hit start. It is literally that simple. I believe it is the safest form of botting, because you rarely even go near actual players. I love it haha it works great. I have seen it get stuck in 3 different spots, but it is RARE to get stuck.
 
Excellent, I'll be giving it a shot tonight. I have one more question though, with my main, the only Arch I find are Night Elf, Dwarf, Troll, and Fossil.. Is that normal? When/where do I start getting the other racial findings?
 
Draenei and Orc are in Outlands, Vykrul and Nerubian are in northrend, and lastly you will find Tol'vir in uldum.

yeah, they were heavily reflowed

my ally ones i fixed a few issues on, but the horde... ugh, take it this way - i have an 85 alliance, 80 horde, and a 72 horde from testing this last week or so

guess why =P

I haven't given your outlands or northrend profiles much of a shot... the outland profile seemed to act rediculous, and got stuck a lot so I just assume outland pathing is awful in general. But I cant wait to try the profiles here again + northrend one.

yeah, classic and bc were a pain in the butt to fix

LK was ok, a few tweaks / fixes and it was good to go
