Back after 2 years. Wheres all of the Routines?

So Ive just come back to the game and notice theres not a whole lot of active/up to date routines. It looks like I have to pay 50$ + just for a few routines.. Whats up with this? This is a problem.. You cant find a brewmaster CR thats even supported anymore without spending even more money.. Ive donated in the past to these devs that have made top notch legit raiding CR.. but now theres a store and you HAVE to buy a CR to even have a good honorbuddy experience?

No, the Singular all-in-one CR that ships with Honorbuddy is all you need. To date, it is still the best PvE routine available.

The Store gives you options for 'pimping out your ride', but that is your choice. Honorbuddy has everything you need for an awesome experience, as shipped.

Thank you for the quick respose chinajade. I do understand that Singular is a very good CR, however it has been proven in the past and pretty recently huge dps gains from other CR. I'm sharing my frustration because I've had honorbuddy for 5 years now. (2011) and haven't ever had to deal with a CR issue. I'd like to see if we can address this issue with a simple subscription plan for paid CR. This way players like myself who have multiple toons that they use for raids dont end up spending an enormous amount of money on CR.

I'm working on new raiding routines for every class and could use some help testing and any suggestions.

I currently go else where for my cr needs due to developers rolling out after the store was introduced and the game has become more heavy on cr funtions which seems to be lacking with hb. singular is not good for raiding by any means and will never hit decent numbers past any normal raids. Tuanha's routines went from free to only paid and even those are lacking better then singular yes but still very lacking. Pm me for some info and ill let you know what I use.

What a strange argument...What's the difference between donating to get a good CR and buying one off the store? You don't seem to realize that people like you that "donated" to get these CR's are the cause of the store being created in the first place.

Was HB a better place when CR's were required to be free? Yes
Was the store created because people were requiring "donations" to use CR's? You better believe it.

The HB team saw all these third party devs making money outside of HB itself and decided to cash in. Now they can control the content exactly the way they want and ban any dev that attempts to sell outside of the store.

You know where all the routines are. If your "honorbuddy experience" is based on how good a CR is, you better pony up, just like you used to do with your donations.

The devs of the current routines such as Millz or Tuanha have put a crazy amount of work and effort into those routines, why shouldnt they charge for something that is a great working routine.

Youve been away for 2 years and have come back with such a negative attitude, please think of the positives and the benefits of the store and the positives for the devs who have content on the stores.

IMO, the typical 15$ for each routine isnt enough, especially for tuanha routines.

guys, chill out with the negativity, OP is just asking because he dont know.

For the last 1,5 years aprox, maybe a bit longer there have been publicly distributed some high end profiles that the devs have spent crazy amount of time to perfect. you can play with bots and get 2.6k++ rating, several gladiators use it. Because the devs have spent so much time perfecting it, so it will cost a lot of money. Thats the big difference, people made profiles before for bots to run on, auto farming creeps without dying. Now they make profiles to battle the worlds best pvp/pve players. Singular will do it's job, u can level with it fine and all also u can use it for raiding and obtain a fair amount of damage. But it will not be able to compare to something people have spent 100's of hours on making Just right, look at Vitalics rogue for instance its a masterwork: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=darnXugU0xo, or youtube GladiatorSuite warlock/lazerchicken. It is putting out so much damage you have to restrain yourself a little bit so you dont do twice the damage from a normal player (2k+...)

i think the only big newish thing now a days is that pvp crs have become insanely good compared to what they used to be.

He does know though. Reading his post, you can clearly see that he knows where they went and is just bitter that their in a store instead of him "donating" for access. Look at his join date, he's not some noobie that's never been to these forums before.
