So why the hell did the glider topic get closed? I think there was a pretty good discussion going on, but i guess tony got butthurt so he decided to close it. Also i think its pretty damn funny for a moderator to openly start bashing another bot lol

i have to agree. The forums have there own honorbuddy/gatherbuddy section and have it in a recomended bots post. If you won't let people talk about something that isn't even up yet and is a 50/50 chance of it coming back that is just rediculous especially since they vouched for your bot but you delete a thread discussing the possible revival of the bot.

but the problem is nothing was going wrong people were just having a discussion. I understand if the bot is currently available but the bot is probably not even coming back, ocktra might have posted pictures of a date but do you realize how easy that stuff is to change? and remember they are still in court for bypassing a security measure built in which is strictly forbidden in the tos so there is a high chance they are not allowed to develop ever again.

but that doesn't matter because the bot isn't even live so in the long run that conversation didn't affect tony or bossland at all and it never will. Because they were going back to glider anyway and most said im gonna use both.

exactly, theres no point in beating a dead horse, and comparing old software to new ones. its like people comparing the original super mario bro's to new super mario bro's on the wii, if you get the right fan boys together, that discussion can go on all day, and there's really no sense in letting it happen. the topics been up for a while, everyone who wanted to chime did chime in, but its time to let it go and move on.
