Avoiding Arcane Sentry, Explosions etc...

My bot has a hard time avoiding arcane sentry, like 50% of the time because it paces back and forth and sometimes gets hit by explosions or dips in arcane sentry back and forth until it dies.

Can someone give me advice on how to help my bot to avoid this kind of death? Sometimes it stands a few feet away and doesn't pace back and forth, in this case it survives... but how can I help it decide to do this every time?
