Avatar picture?

Hey, well first off i dont even know where to put this thread, since i can't find general discussion, but yeah, all night ive been editing my avatar and i have the right size but when i save it i look at it and its too small, like its 2x smaller than evryone elses pics, so i was wondering how do i do a decent sized Avatar and Profile Pic? jw, because i wanna be awesome please move this if you can to the correct thread, thanks

Wich program do you use to create your avatar? And to what are you saving it to?(.jpg .png ect..)

Im finding ones on google, the correct ones either copying the link or downloading them and editing them to make them smaller if they are too big.
