Just wondering if anyone has used AutoIt and gotten banned?
A few months back I botted (GB2 mining, public profile) for 12+ hours straight in Uldum with Ninjaing on, ie asking for a ban. However I didn't get banned until I got back home and while on another char, was running a simple AutoIt script to repeatedly press a WoW macro. Got logged out for a ban while I was watching it run, appealed, waited 12 hours and called them, and got the account back.
Ever since though, I've sort of developed a fear of mining in Uldum. So I've stuck with herbing once in a while and leveling new alts through questing + arch.
So I was kinda wondering if maybe Blizzard auto-detects AutoIt scripts now (was running the AutoIt.exe) and that's only why I got banned.
